Skyline Commissions Solar Electricity System for Affordable Housing

Garfield Hills Apartments - Washington, DC

We recently worked with Preservation Of Affordable Housing (POAH) to install a rooftop solar electricity system at their Southeast Washington, DC property, Garfield Hills Apartments. The 40 kW photovoltaic (PV) system consists of 40 solar panels that convert sunlight directly into electricity and will reduce energy expenses by offsetting the need to purchase utility-generated electricity. Below are some photographs of the installation.

The 94 unit garden-style property is comprised of seven buildings.
